Some useful tips to prolong the life of your candle:
As with all candles, the first burn is the most important. Make sure your candle does not feel cold when lighting and ensure your first burn lasts at least two hours. You want the wax pool to reach the edge to avoid tunnelling.
As general housekeeping, keep the wick trimmed to around 15mm to avoid an unruly flame. Trimming is best done before lighting.
Try to avoid short burn times as this can encourage tunnelling as well as burns longer than 4 hours.
Make sure there is no debris sitting on the wax as this can affect the flame and potentially cause smoke.
To avoid discolouration and melting, keep your candle out of direct sunlight.
