In addition to waste reduction, Parapura is dedicated to tree planting and carbon offsetting as a member of the non-profit organisation Ecologi.

While our carbon offsets support Gold Standard or equivalent certified projects, especially in the field of renewable energy, we also plant one tree per item sold. When carried out correctly, tree planting is extremely effective in fighting climate change and preserving biodiversity. Ecologi works together with the leading non-profit and responsible reforestation pioneer Eden Reforestation Projects.

To date, together with our customers, we have avoided more than 40,000 pieces of plastic, planted more than 2,500 trees and removed more than 17 tonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, the equivalent of driving about 40,000km or the circumference of the earth.
